Professor Geoff McCaughan
Professor McCaughan is Head of the Liver Injury & Cancer Program at the Centenary Institute, University of Sydney. After completing his postdoctoral training at the University of Oxford in 1986 as a CJ Martin Fellow, he returned to Sydney where he developed the basic research program for the AW Morrow Gastroenterology and Liver Centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital of which he is now the Director.
Dr Raoul Concepcion
Dr Concepcion is a highly qualified, Board Certified Urologist based in Nashville Tennessee. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was previously president of Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA). His clinical interests are the diagnosis and management of genitourinary malignancies.
Dr Sam Janes
Dr Samuel Janes MBBS MRCP MSc PhD is an outstanding clinical scientist, respiratory physician, and a Wellcome Senior Fellow in Clinical Science, Professor of Respiratory Medicine and Head of Respiratory Research Department at the University College London Hospitals (UCLH). Dr Janes qualified from the University of London as a medical doctor in 1991 gaining a BSc (Hons) and MBBS, then trained in respiratory medicine at several hospitals, completed an MSc (Distinction) in Respiratory Medicine in 1999, gained his CCST in Respiratory and General Medicine in 2004, and a PhD in integrin adhesion molecules and cancer cell survival in 2004.
